The SIM800L is a miniature quad-band GSM/GPRS module with TTL serial interface — no MAX232 required. Supports SMS, voice calls, and GPRS data (TCP/IP) globally. Includes two antennas: a wire antenna (soldered to NET pin) and a PCB antenna with IPX connector for use inside enclosures. Onboard network status LED (slow blink = signal, fast blink = no signal).
Caution: The SIM800L uses 2.8V logic. Use a resistor voltage divider when interfacing the TX line with 5V Arduino to avoid damaging the module.
