The TCS3200 Color Sensor Module detects and identifies any visible colour by combining Red, Green, and Blue photodiode readings. Outputs a square wave whose frequency corresponds to the detected colour intensity. Four onboard white LEDs ensure consistent illumination in any ambient light. Compatible with Arduino, PIC, AVR, ARM, and most microcontrollers.
Pin Description:
- S0/S1 — Output frequency scaling selection
- S2/S3 — Photodiode type selection (R/G/B/Clear)
- OE — Output Enable (active low)
- OUT — Frequency output signal
- VCC — 2.7V–5.5V supply
- GND — Ground
