The GP2Y1010AU0F is a compact optical air quality sensor that detects fine dust particles, smoke, and particulate matter in the air. Uses an infrared LED and phototransistor to detect reflected light from particles. Particularly effective for cigarette smoke detection and can distinguish smoke from house dust via output pulse pattern. Analog voltage output proportional to dust density.
