The SIM800A is a quad-band GSM/GPRS module supporting 850/900/1800/1900MHz. Features RS232 (DB9) and TTL UART interfaces for easy connection to PCs or microcontrollers. Controlled via standard AT commands. Onboard SIM card holder, network status LED, and TCP/IP stack for GPRS data transfer. Industrial-grade operating range: -40°C to +85°C.
Note: Requires 9–12V DC supply with at least 2A peak current capability.
