The HC-05 is a Bluetooth 2.0+EDR serial module (SPP) that operates in both Master and Slave modes, switchable via AT commands. Default is Slave mode. Supports wireless serial communication with microcontrollers at up to 2.1Mbps (async). Supply voltage 3.6–6V, directly compatible with 5V Arduino systems.
