The IIC/I2C Serial Interface Adapter Module (PCF8574) converts I2C serial data to parallel for controlling 16×2 and 20×4 character LCD displays with just 2 wires (SDA + SCL). Reduces LCD wiring from 8 pins to 2. Default I2C address 0x3F, adjustable via 3 solder jumpers. Onboard potentiometer for contrast control and jumper for backlight enable/disable. RoHS-compliant.
