The IR Proximity Sensor module uses an IR transmitter-receiver pair with an LM393 comparator to detect obstacles at 2–10cm range, 35° detection angle. Outputs a digital LOW signal when an obstacle is detected. Detection distance is adjustable via onboard potentiometer. Green LED indicates detection; red LED indicates power. 3-wire interface (VCC, GND, OUT) directly compatible with 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers. Board size: 31 × 15mm.
