The LM2596 DC-DC Buck Converter is a non-isolated step-down switching regulator capable of 3A output with high efficiency. Output voltage is adjustable via onboard potentiometer (turn clockwise to increase, anticlockwise to decrease). 150kHz switching frequency allows compact filter components. Built-in short-circuit protection with self-recovery. Add a heatsink for loads above 2.5A or 10W output.
