TP4056 C TYPE

TP4056 1A Li-Ion Battery Charger Board with USB Type-C input, DW01 protection IC, and onboard LED charge status indicators. Charges single-cell 3.7V Li-Ion batteries (1Ah or higher, e.g. 18650) at up to 1A. Protects against over-discharge (cuts off below 2.4V), over-voltage, and reverse polarity. Disconnect load while charging.

Connections:

• IN+/IN− (left) — USB-C or 5V DC input
• B+/B− (right) — Battery cell
• OUT+/OUT− (right) — Load output

LED Indicators:

• Red — Charging
• Green — Charge complete

Important Notes:

• Never charge at a rate greater than 1C
• Recommended charge current: ~37% of battery capacity (e.g. 400mA for 1000mAh)
• Disconnect load during charging
• Input >5V may auto-reduce charge current — this is normal protection behaviour
• Ammeter connects to 5V input side only
